L’uso del web come leva di marketing territoriale ha creato sia nuove opportunità che inedite criticità per le destinazioni turistiche: se da una parte si è potuto contare su un mercato potenziale vasto e su un feedback immediato da parte del turista, d’altra parte la destinazione non ha avuto più il pieno controllo della propria immagine e ha dovuto fronteggiare il delicato argomento della reputazione turistica online.
